2. Hosting

This website is hosted on a server of netcup GmbH, Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany. The server stores the website's files and the server log files described below. Data is processed in Germany. Further information is available in the provider's privacy policy.

3. Server log files

Each time you visit this website, the web server automatically records the following information in log files:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • date and time of the request
  • the page or file requested, and the HTTP status code and amount of data transferred
  • the website from which you were referred (referrer), if your browser sends it
  • browser type and version, and operating system (user agent)

This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security, for example to detect and defend against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and error-free operation of the website. The data is not combined with other data sources and is not used to identify visitors. Log files are deleted automatically after 14 days, unless a specific incident requires them to be kept longer as evidence.

This website does not set cookies, does not use browser storage, and does not use analytics, advertising or social-media plugins. Fonts and images are served from our own server, so no data is sent to font providers or content delivery networks when you visit.

6. Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide (such as your name, contact details and message) in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. We delete this data once your enquiry has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations require us to keep it.

This website contains links to our Facebook page and to Google Maps. These are plain links: no data is transmitted to Meta or Google when you view our pages. Only when you click such a link does your browser connect to the respective service, whose own privacy policy then applies:
